NICK PILON ( http://www.codebass.ca )
began his career production in 2001, he earned modest success on the Detroit Techno Charts with his 1st production "Destroyer". Later in 2003 he headlined a small gig at one of Montreal's premier techno clubs at the time "Soho Lounge". That is where he met Preach, Montreal's #1 techno DJ. Influenced by Preach and his hero Paul Van Dyk he merged his techno background with his true passion, trance, to create his very own distinct sound that has kept Montreal buzzing for the last 4 years. Since that time, Nick has been steadily improving and developing his unique approach to music production. His first big break came in 2004 when he headlined the Tiesto after-party at Aria afterhours. He became a resident for 1 year with his own night called “Trance All Night Series”. Now he is Resident @ Circus Afterhours in Montreal. Since then, he has been very busy balancing his time between producing and playing. He has the opportunity to test out his new material there on a regular basis in front of some of the best guest DJs the world has to offer. Nick has been gaining the confidence needed to further pursue his passion. He has played with some of the best trance DJs like Marcus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Christopher Lawrence, ATB, Phynn, Blank & Jones and Filo & Peri. In Summer 2005, he had a breakthrough hit with "Why", his mix of a well-know track produced by Lolo. His track was played by the best trance DJs of the world like Paul Van Dyk. Last year, he started making is own Radio Show by a collaboration of House-Pacifique call “Lost in Trance”. The Radio have so much success that International Guest Dj are now invite to the show like Dj Amadeus, Phynn, Mark Norman, Ferry Corsten, John Askew, Wellenrausch, Preach, Gerry Cueto, Martin Roth. Filo & Peri, Ernesto & Bastian and many more.... With his next releases, increased popularity and his very strong work ethic we can only expect greater things to come in the future.
