just bought tickets for my mom and I for Friday night. :)
I think we are gonna do the mother/daughter day and go shopping and have dinner in TO then head over to the game.
Maybe I can convince her to drive so I can drink.. haha |

So tired. Just got in 30 mins ago.
On another note,
I see that Justine Henin is playing tomorrow evening.
Im SERIOUSLY debating on driving down for it! SERIOUSLY.
I was so upset not seeing her today... I need to see my girl play! I DO! . |

Yup. it. I think I'm driving down for Henin's match.
I'll enjoy watching Jankovic play too, esp after seeing Pelletier come thru and steal that win tonite! She played well. Her set vs. the other canadian was great. awesome shots and some excellent rallies.
The other player's backhand slice was INCREDIBLE!!! ing brilliant watching right up in the FIRST ROW GOLD SECTION!
The stadium was like 1/2 full, so they came over the speaker to told Level 300 that they were invited down into the stadium, which meant a free for all foreveryone to just grab any seat as close as they wanted! :D Awesome! |

I couldnt ing buy tickets and go tonite bc I had to work late to get a good start on a file which is due by Friday morning, that I need to go over with my partner tomorrow! :( !
(If I hadnt gone yesterday this would never even have been an issue.... WHY THE HELL didnt i check Monday night to see which day Justine was playing on!! BALLS!)
I'm so bothered right now...
I'm not even sure I'll be able to get out of here by 500 or 530pm on Thursday to see her if she has an evening match again bc of this file being due Friday morning.... and thats assuming she gets another evening match time as opposed to during teh day...
God i hate this uncertainty...
Im just worried about the very remote chance that she gets eliminated and me not having a chance to see her!! I never have and DESPERATELY want to!!
annoyed w/ my luck right now.

Justine is through, easily. :)
But her 3rd rounud match is TODAY at 1pm, instead of THIS EVENING at 730pm, so I wont be able to go :(
She'll win again though. Maybe I'll have the chance Friday night.
But I am going on Saturday or Sunday (more likley Sunday it seems right now) anyways, so really all I am ing praying for is that Justine gets to the finals... which is really whats gonna happen of course, her being the top seed and no. 1 player in the world.
Seeing Justine playing in the final will be the apex of my summer if it happens!! :D |

When I was there last night, once they did the "300 Shuffle" for the ending doubles match of the night, I got to see in the actually BDO DUNWOODY LLP box seats right at the front!
Though that was pretty cool, when I noticed our corporate box seats... I just had to sit in them :D |

So, its first set... like 1st or 2nd game in, and I get a text, from, guess who? Our own JENNERS... Magikb... shes asking if I'm watching my girl playing tonight!
I text her HELL YESSS I AM... ARE YOU???
OMG! Yup! 300 something. I tell her, I'm 106. She was there w/ her mom and her mom figured out that was pretty much RIGHT BELOW her!
I meet up them at the break between sets (after Justine won the first! OH YA!)... it was sooooooooooooooooooo excellent find out she was there!! Totally made it more fun!!
And boy let me tell you, its ing FREEZING up in the 300s at night, esp w/ teh wind as it was last night...
Jenn and mom were SO COLD... they could barely function!
Man, all I gotta say is that tennis w/ friends is sooooooooooooo much better... wish I had more friends that enjoyed watching the sport, or who were willing to pay to go see it live with me :) ...
We had a blast, took a few (COLD) photos.
Gotta give Jenn props for having a kickass HILARIOUS as mom... the woman's a riot lol... totally see where Jenn gets her awesomeness from now!! |

My mom and I had a fab time. We had never seen a match live before and even though we were freezing our asses off in the 300's, we made the best of it :)
I love the temper on Petrova though :haha: I only wish I could have caught some of her antics on camera.. lol
After the shuffle, we stayed to watch the doubles for a little bit, but didn't want to miss our shuttle back to the car so we hiked it out of there.
On our drive home, we decided to stop in at the casino. I had been having this itch to go for the last week. (everytime I have the itch, I have gone and won) We got into the casino, found our machines and within probably about 15 min max of being there, we both won; my mom 100$ and me 125$. So we cashed out and called it a night. :D
I am sure that we will go back again next year when tennis comes back around. Jamie, we had a blast. It was definately a riot once we could all sit together too :)
