It was ing SICK.. everyone was getting down to svg basslines. :) The other resident dj's took where curly left off.
He set them up perfectly for some groovy deep house..Curly really brought everyone out to the dancefloor.
post that video!
btw claude von stroke remix isnt as good as the original.. needs more cow....accordian. :)

you can barely see anything in the video. I preferred the CVS remix for that particular set, I think my set would have strayed too much with the original. It was savage throwin down deep/tech house and a pinch of minimal for the deep house cats. They dug every track! |

It's a Mexican restaurant called Tapas. 18 and over, with cheap drink specials. Nothing like Ten was on Thursdays. Think of it as anti-OC house night. I saw Kaskade there a while ago, was a fun time.
I remember the sound being just ok, but the vibe was fun. |

the sound system is legit. the vibe was awesome. I had a bunch of people in circles battling each other all throughout the dancefloor. Those peeps were the best dancers I have ever seen! They have good drink specials and awesome dj lineups. I will be heading down soon to check out Jesse Rose (one of my major influences) in a few weeks. The FOCUS peeps put on a good weekly. I wish I lived closer.
Yeah this club is totally anti-OC as Woody said. That whole element was missing at this party...which I personally think is a good thing. I love a party with peeps that are pure house headz. |
