Since I have moved to my new House, I have not been able to lug/find room for/ my DJ equipment. I have the Tech 1200's, Rane mixer, recorder, denon cd players and loads of speakers/amps.
I do however own a beautiful Apple Macbook all pumped up.
I am already using a combo of mac/pc and korg triton to create my new tracks...they will be in my mixshows....
Question is.......
I see all of these DJs rockin the macbook to perform in clubs and I am sure they use them to mix at home.
What is the best software to use with a mac to do my mixing? And what additional controllers do I need to obviously do the mixing?
is Serato the answer?
thanks in advance. |
