yeah! i'm there X10! i'd cancel ibiza if i had to. that show was UNREAL! i've been preaching daft punk since i left brooklyn. i've already purchased tickets for my bro & i in october. for a minute i considered quitting my job and just following daft punk around the world but they don't perform enough for that to make sense. :p

however, you get my point.

to everyone who is a daft punk virgin like i was:
GO SEE DAFT PUNK!! make it the most important social event you are planning! nothing else comes close!

btw, i am slowly creating a video playlist for the event and will be adding videos as they are posted. here is the link:

yea, it was prefect... right when the bassline dropped in their suits lit up. Priceless. Biggest smile I've ever had!! :toothless

For real though... Sunshine is absolutely correct. Make it a point to see them when you can. You will not regret it.

I went in having listened to the Coachella set a couple times, and so I thought I knew what to expect.

Biggest surprises of the night for me:

-The Rapture's opening set. Maybe those indie hipsters are on to something, because the Rapture was a blast! I loved their set so much, I went out and bought their latest CD the next day. Everyone was dancing, and they laid out just the right mix of cool and fun to set the mood for Daft Punk. Highlight of their set was definitely the appropriately titled (and announced) "Whoo! Alright! Yeah! Uh-Huh!"

-Burnin'! They slipped it in right after that mash-up of "Around The World" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger." It came in unexpectedly and it was great to hear that the Coachella set-list was still evolving.

-The Encore. I had a brain aneurysm.

Best concert of my life. This tops everything, and I just can't express how awesome it was in words. Frustrating.
