| I know what you mean...I've watched every season on dvd...but I just didn't remember that one. I like 'candy' more anyway. |

| Yeah - I own all the DVD's (though they're in Point so I can't check them now), and I actually just watched the extended pilot the other day, but I don't recall that at all. |

Mobius Band is another, completely separate group on Ghostly.
Matthew's own band is 'Matthew Dear's Big Hands' = live performance of productions he made under his own name (in other words, not Audion or FALSE stuff). The band was put together for the purpose of touring. He did all the work for the albums on his own. They're playing @ all the US dates, & Mobius Band is opening @ all of them except Chicago. Yeah, you guys get Superpitcher. :jealousy: |
Okay, I know you said the "Big Hands" are playing at all of the US performances, and that makes sense in the case of Ann Arbor since they are playing a small venue, the Blind Pig, but are you absolutely positive about this because, no offense to anyone, but I would prefer to hear his beats played off of vinyl with a solid soundsystem connected than that silly band. i saw the performance when he was in chicago last time with the band and, although it might have been considered entertaining, it was nothing remotely close to as good as when i saw him spin at Fabric last summer. Can you confirm this and if anyone has seen him this summer, maybe they have improved as a live performance, please let me know. Thanks. |

Well, the Ann Arbor & Chicago dates were presented really strangely before. Mobius Band won't be at either, but there's no other substitute for Michigan (Superpitcher in Chicago). I was unsure before if it meant he was just doing his own live PA for those two, or if it would still be with a band, but somebody else found the Chicago one, at least, listed specifically as Matthew Dear's Big Hands & Superpitcher, so I'm assuming it'll be the same in MI (sans opener).
All the others are definitely Big Hands & Mobius Band dates, though. |
