There are a few really good tracks in there, but all the vocal tracks are up there on a new level of crap.
A major part of the reason why I've been so turned off "trance" (or trance pop rather?) these last few years is because of the excessive use of female vocals singing meaningless lyrics to the same type of snyth pop tune. I guess PvD is in love with this style because it comprises HALF of the tracks on here. I miss those Politics of Dancing and Out There and Back Days. |

For the most part, it definately steps up as a trance album over Reflections, which so far it is better. He plays it safe with this album, but overall it is pretty good so far. Though I am gonna have to listen to it a few times. I had to get it today so I can have it ready for my 10+ hr flight to Greece tomorrow along with whenever I am out there chilling as I will probably play it a few times over the next few weeks.

My friend just sent me his album this morning and I'm listening to it right now... awesome so far!
You'll have a blast at Summerstage! I went last year to see him and nothing beats dancing in the middle of Central Park while the sunsets! The laser show was also off the hook (it made all these cool patterns as they bounced off the trees)!!! Have fun! |
