Yeh, i dont get this 'digital only' crap. What if i wanted to buy the CD with a case, etc. Why should i have to burn it myself? What if i have vinyl TT's and want to play the tracks? Stupidest idea ever, and surely one that makes them lose money?

Anyway, its a very good compilation, and i'm liking your two tracks quite a bit mr. atlant

Explain to me how this makes them lose money besides the obvious answer that you won't buy it since it's not a cd.

The CD is all i meant really, also the fact that they wont be selling tracks as vinyl but i suppose it costs money to produce these things in the first place so im not completley sure hence why i added a question mark at the end of that statement.

It's still music.

Yeah - I really don't understand the hostility towards a digital only release. Essentially it seems as if many of you are implying that no matter what, a digital release doesn't warrant attention solely because it's digital only.

What are you all going to do when there are no more pieces of vinyl or CD's for you to buy?

Digital is one the cause of the dead of the music!

CD/Vinyl tomorrow will become an object of pur class, the single support to still listen to quality.

off digital, I don't listen to the artists who releases their titles on digital support only!

Welcome at new era, byebye music!

(excuse my bad english...)

digital only encourages people to download it illegally. I like to buy the cd as it adds to my collection and its nice to have something "in the flesh" when I pay money for it. If its digital only, there feels like little reason to pay for it apart from the moral reasons.....which mean jack to a lot of people.

Luckily for us that's not going to happen. During my lifetime anyway.

Are you implying a determination on the part of the vinyl industry, or a suicidal intent?

Someone's going to have to deal with it sometime.

*This next part isn't directed at anyone in particular.

I guess I just think instead of being apprehensive of change. Distribution methods are inevitably going to change, but in no way, shape, or form does that mean "music is dying" - it may, however mean that you have to look harder to find it.

People can talk all the nonsense they want about the downsides to digital, but I rarely see anyone addressing the issues realistically. The fact of the matter is that digital distribution is here to stay, and if you want to close the doors to literally millions of tracks and artists because of some stubborn and ignorant belief, you're the only one who is going to suffer.
