Sup, commenting as I listen
The song starts out great, the eerie melody fits the ambiance fx perfectly. The introduction of the kick was kinda random now that the the groove is on i like it. All the sounds are nice, production value is a+. The progression is a little slow to my liking, but thats just me.

So far i like the sounds but i dont feel like the song is going anywhere, maybe 13 min. is a bit long.
The synth work is very good, you sure know your goa! But at this point its just a matter of composition and arrangement. The song sure is trippy though.

Anyways, keep it up and dont get the wrong impression: i love the sounds and production but the arrangement doesnt make me go wow

Hey gr8ape :D

Thanks for your reply. I uploaded a shorter version of the track on my website, I will probably shorten it a little further to abut 8 minutes, but I still want to keep the long version.

Thanks also for your production critque. You commented that the track has less than great composition and arrangement, how do you mean? Any suggestions or methods I should focus on to improve at all? Thanks again :-)

The overall feel of the track doesn't seem right. It seems a little bland IMO.

well at this point if you really wanted to rework the track think of it as a remix: use the parts and instruments you already created to create another track with more a progression and buildup, but that would be alot of work. Personally i would get lazy and just start another track lol

Its a question of buildup/breakdown I think, and progression in the melodies.....kinda hard to explain though. Think of it as a direction to the song, a peak to reach....something like that.

btw, seeing you like psy i would appreciate if you gave a listen to a song i just made
