Please remind me next time that I'm too old for this 3 day party weekends. It was a blast specially last night. Props to all the TAs that spun over the weekend. Everyone kicked ass!

It was nice meeting you DJay! You definitely livened up the party!
I certainly had fun last night.

Never been in 1015 when it closed.

Glad the crazy fight that you only see in the movies(4 security guys taking him down to the floor) didn't stop the music! Man those guys act fast.

It was great seeing all of you and I will definitely miss you. Might be 2-5 weeks before I come back. :(

I hate to say it, but you might have to come and kidnap me for that one. :\ I just don't see me making it at this point. But let me know when any of you are coming to LA for anything!

Last night was way more fun than I expected. I went because I could and just wanted to show my support, but I had a lot of fun. Interesting/Odd crowd, but the club was real full overall and the music was great for the most part. It was actually just a lot of fun hanging with the likes of Blurr and other peeps when it wasn't largely business and just able to have a good time.

Haven't been to simply a fun party like that since when G&D had the SPundae residency there when it was just abotu showing up, haivng tons of fun, etc when their sets weren't the most spectacular...it was just the atmosphere that was so much fun!

D:Jay, I HATE YOU! :-p

Great 2 nights overall! It was a pleasure for Lexxx and I to open for Ish on Saturday. Thanks to everyone that made it out! It was the first time I heard play his style of music. It's what he said it to be, psy and tech without the trippy elements. :whip:

Sunday was just as fun as the night before. Mystre dropped some sick electro tech bombs! John Beaver and Maitre V did their slot nice. Haven't heard the Kyau & Albert mix of Find in quite some time. Can't get enough of Waiting Here For You either! Didn't get to stay too long as long as I wanted. One shouldn't be relying on Red Bull to keep you up for the whole day.

OK, a review..yeas one.

Mystre.

Don't recall hearing him, too bad.

John Beavher. As John has been told, I just thought during a period of his set I thought he relied on vocal trance too much. While I am not a big fan of vocal trance, I am confident to say that I know when there is a good time and a bad time to us it. While I Don' have any complaints to the specific tractks he played, my issue is was that he played too many vocal tracks back to back with lonnnnnnnnng breakdowns with not much buildup. Breakdowns are often fine, unless they are structred with layers that build it back up. There were three or four tracks in a row (that he and not the person he was tagging with was playing) where the breakdowns was long and droke down instead of immediately building up. You would litereally see a chunk of the crowd walk away during this time of boredone. The attention span of the typical Ten15 crowd is short as hell , so you breakdown needs one of tow then: an obvious builup from the beginning or two) a track that everyone in the whole ing world gets excited too and one they notice what it is they wait in antitipation.

I arrived at Ten15 and got into the main room at 12:45 and this main issue spane from the time I got into the main room for abiout 12 minutes until about 1:20. From that time boith JOhn and whoever the hell it was he was tagging with really got the beat goingo and didnt' really let down. I think when John played PvD: White Lites at about 1:20 it was the turning point.

In the end, having gone to Ten15 since 2001 or so it amazes me how few DJs really learn how to really read a crowd and and adjust. I don't even like to play that fast it was apparent the crowd Sunday night was a 137-138+ BPM crowd. Espceially considerring it was a Sunday and they needed powerful beats when most of them have probably been out all weekened. John's set was decent overlal but the energy cvould have been a lot better. Unless you are the likes of Armin (I honestly wouldn't even say PvD), I would say vocal trance needs to be kept at a minimum and focus on the energy. Vocal trance and long, unstrcutured breakcdown needs to be kept at minimum.

With it came to Taj's set, as he might know, I wasn't really paying attention and aren't able to make an honest review.

With Blurr's nice but short set. Let me say it: Best set I've heard from you yet. It might have been only baout an hour, but it's obvious you are best with good, hard, banging trance. Vocal trance might be a favorite, but the non-vocal kcik ass track suits you best. That room for the first ten minute wasn't even that active, and even though they cut your set off at about 4:20-4:30 every single person who was left in the main room during most of your set was totally feeling it.

Beyond my review, some of the things I learned Sunday night...totally f'ed up. And it's too bad.

These are my honest opinions. And the end of them.

Keep up the good work Taj.

Please excusd any bad grammer. Been a good night with the vodka-cranberry. :-p lol.

I'm trying to understand what you're saying in this paragraph... I'm trying really hard.
But all I know is that John got the beat going pretty much right at 12:30 with the first track bangin hard. I loved that one!
rizo
