I'm sure it's difficult for someone like you to understand, but for those with high standards it's quite natural to find a place both worthy of ridicule and worth visiting.
On the other hand, you suffer from an entirely unrelated pathology:
You are apparently incapable of distinguishing between a thread in which "15 or so" friends discuss entirely personal matters which are of no interest to anyone outside of their "group" and a thread in which vastly more than 15 people discuss a much broader variety of "random" topics.
After having overlooked this exceedingly obvious distinction, you apparently decided that the best way to proceed would be to complain about the moderators making the decisions that you disagree with, and how they must be playing favorites. Even if that were true, which we have no reason to believe is the case, so what? This is a private forum, and you are not entitled to equal treatment. You don't have to like it, but this childish pouting as if you were somehow "wronged" is in fact the very embodiment of crying.
Don't let me stop you, though. In fact, your unjustified angst towards the moderators qualifies as just the type of amusing content which justifies my spending time visiting this forum. |

Not once did I say that I was wronged, but I did point towards the moderators and accuse them of having limited sight. They see what they enjoy taking part in as being good and worthy of a sticky, but they see others the preceeded this as unacceptable.
You're right, this is a private forum, but the moderators still have to play the role of impartiality. This appears to be a clear breach of that part of the job description.

Just because the scale is larger, what makes the lack of quality discussion worthy of this? Please reference back to the page I linked. That was just today, the broader topic consisted of, "nfl can eat my ass... fag... puto... ahah Jake owned you all... (football or foozball)... OMG BUTTERS!... anal probes... someone talking about being behind someone... and a repeating 'This thread rockx' "
It appears that I am wrong, the mods made the right move in stickying and supporting that thread. I apologize for wasting everybody's time.

the idea was that silly/random thoughts went in there, but to fulfill that purpose, we'd need less stupid threads, such as this one, so it ultimately fails in that respect. |
