I love that it is literally 5 minutes from my house and I don't have to worry about a long drive home after the party. I can be home at 2:10am and still get in 6 hours of sleep before work. :D |

| heres a proper review... the crowed that showed up looked like they were ready for motley crew so the average age was like 35... deadmau5 dropped a sick set but no one knew what was going on or how good deadmau5 was because they've never herd elecro before... dj aero dropped tracks from like 4 months ago or tracks that joel dropped before they came on... and tommy lee just pranced around butchering vocals and backbeats... all in all it was an alright time... the club partitioned people immediatly when we walked in the club so we had to wait upstairs for like 2 hour (kinda whack)... |

Same here! But I will probably stay later than 2 am..

Party was ok, busy, good vibe I guess. I got there late, like 12:30 or so, maybe later. Only went cuz Joel said he was playing upstairs after when I talked to him the night before but I guess the mainfloor show went on longer than expected so that idea was scratched :( A good drunken time, the girls were HAWT and out in full force. It was a party definently, but not my kinda party.

I went in with very low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised :)
Deadmau5 was the reason I went, and well we all know how good he is...
Tommy looked like he was enjoying himself, but I didn't pay too much attention to him...Dj Aero was ok...nothing spectacular, but I have to say I liked most of the tracks he played :)
They ended atound 2:15 which sucked but whatever...it was a Sunday!
I had an amazing time overall...

I wasn't really quite sure what to expect last night @ Velvet Lounge.
Beta opened as was playing some great tunes. Definately had the crowd bopping. Deadmau5 followed and rocked the place. It was my first time seeing both dj's. I was very impressed. :)
Tommy Lee and DJ Aero came on and the crowd went crazy imo. Although most people stood around just taking pictures of Tommy...haha
There were also some minor technical difficulties with the speakers in the beginning of their set.. not really sure what was going on with that.
Their track selection was great and towards the end they came in with a heavier bassline and harder tunes. Although Tommy just dances around and plays with a few buttons (which you can totally witness when you're standing above him looking down) he definately knows how to please a crowd. Or maybe it is just his presence that it cannot be helped. :)
Laugh of the night for me goes out to some random girl in the smoking area. She is on her cell phone talking to some friend about how Tommy Lee was in Cambridge and then she says "whoever is on right now, they go by the name Firebush" :haha:
For a Sunday night, I had a great time out with the girls! And was home by 230am in time to get a solid 4.5 hours of sleep before work this morning, instead of the usual 2 I get Sunday nights. :p
