| yep I knew Adam pretty well actually. I don't think Cameron knows much about the scene or music at all, but he's consistently nice to me. I've noticed the Frog hasn't really been booking any major dj's like Dekoze since Adam left though. |

Neil has admitted he's more into hip hop and house - not so much on the techier side. He's recommended I stop by on the 23rd and chat with the resident DJs, who will be part of a new thursday which errs on the side of tech (perfect!)

closed april 29th (Industry Party). Simon Jain did the official sat night closing the night before. Phoenix was on the selling block for a long time and finally got something. although people are saying that its reopening but rumours are rumours. that place was my home. london needs a new club (by that i mean a large one. 1000 + capacity), not the 400-600 capacity ones that have sprung up |

hi Sarah are you enrolled in the MBA program there @ Ivey? i've been contemplating on enrolling, just haven't decided when yet.. also haven't decided on which school but it's definitely on my list..

I went out for dinner at the tasting room, then got dragged to joe cools. I ended up running into some friends from class there who eventually went to the frog but I came home around 12.
Joe cools is as lame as I remember it to be....right now I like bars where you can have a conversation with people (because I'm certainly not out to go dancing) - it was so loud in there though! the patio upstairs was better.

| Awesome to see this thread! I will be in London week after long weekend and my Saturday Sept. 8 is free. I was wondering if there are any classy places (don't care what the music is as long as the place looks comparable to a Toronto lounge/bar) that I can take my boss to and maybe meet some hot drunk college girls lol j/k) :p |

| o question, when does taphouse or other bars and such hire...start of septemeber ill be looking for a job to have for the school year, made my shedule so i could get a pretty decent one (only go to school tues + thursd, 3pm-10pm) but yea, i dunno when i should start applying/what to look out for/if its too late or something... maybe u know u inside scoop?! lol thanks |
