Whatever. I caught the mistake before you fixed it. (pfft) |

Internet Explorer 7 is really pretty decent. I still use Firefox though, because I'm attached to the extensions (most notably Adblock, Flashblock, Download Statusbar, and to a lesser extent ******** and Linkification) as well as the Quick Search bookmarks - I really like being able to type "wp xxx" or "dic xxx" to look something up.
Having said that, Firefox 2.0 is just plain unstable. It crashes all the time while I'm typing a reply here on this forum! FF wins hands-down for features and add-ons, but IE7 is a whole lot faster and more stable. Firefox is also starting to feel really "heavy", and the one of the reasons I originally preferred it was its lightness...
If you don't spend tons of time on the web and are just browsing to fart around on Facebook or view your Fido bill, stick with IE7. If you feel like you really need to customize the way you browse, then try Firefox. |

Yeah, like most software these days, it started out really quick and nimble and then became a bloated monster after constant useless upgrades. |

| IE. I was just typing up something very important and lengthy in an IE browser window in a form box when suddenly, I don't know what happened, but the whole page moved to somewhere else and I lost everything that I had so meticulously thought out and written. SCREW IT!!! |

Usually I use FF (previously I used Mozilla), but just this evening I ended up using IE, cause my mom found the page I needed to type that thing (it was a complaint) and she uses IE, and I didn't wanna bother to go through the whole thing again at FF, so I just thought that I'll use IE this time and I'll be careful... and , it just took one occurence to again remind me NOT to use that dumb browser...   |

And the thing that's f-ing pissing me off is that my thing was almost fully finished, I was just writing the last sentence (literally), and I only wanted to scroll a bit to the top to see something. And then I lost the whole thing, almost like a Murphy's law effect. What kind of a dumb browser is this that it allows something ridiculous like this to happen?!
