Nord lead 3... Good investment or wait for the Wave?

So, I'm a huge fan of the nord lead 3, always have been, its up there next to the virus on my must buy list.
But I'm wondering, is it worth going shopping for one of these right now, or would I be better off waiting for the Wave?

A few questions, does the Nord Wave have all the features/sounds of the nord lead 3? Seems like its a totally different synth...

Will I be able to bring the Lead into the country from overseas with the "toxic" materials in the lights?

Is it a good investment? Will it hold its value more now that it's discontinued or will the wave make it really obsolete?

I'd like some opinions on whether I should buy this... is it a classic that will keep its value? or something which is going to depreciate the second the Wave comes out?

PS
Really strange... I've posted like 4 threads since I joined over 6 months ago, but 2 in the last two days.... Must have dance music on the brain:D

Well if you like NL3 get it:) I have it and love it. It's my second favorite synth after virus ti. The knobs on NL3 are the best out of any synth i've used. Too bad the nord wave doesn't have them.

Ah OK, thats more or less how I had it figured! Will be on the lookout for one then. Out of curiousity, how much should I pay for a Lead 3 do you think?

Thats EXACTLY what I want! For the right price too... Lucky:p I'm really hoping something like this will come up on ebay, but I suspect everyone's holding onto their NL3s now that they're out of production:(

Get one if you can and hold on tight. I cannot say enough good things about them. Easy to program, the knobs are one-of-a-kind in the synth arena AFAIK, and it sounds great. It gets lots of use in my setup!
