Queen Street West is always a fun place to check out, if you're into weird art stuff.
There are tons of art galleries and cafes down there. Just set up a Saturday night/afternoon and take a stroll there, it can be a lot of fun.
Some places worth checking would be: MOCCA (Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art), Gladstone Hotel, Drake Hotel, and the bunch of galleries in 401 Richmond (A Space, YYZ, etc.)

This is right by my cottage...GREAT FUN!
Just watch the lifeguards aren't around when you jump from the cliffs, the can be really touchy about that.
Best way there is to take the QEW to Hamilton, Hwy 6 North, through Guelph to Fergus, Hang a left on St. Andrew...1.5 hrs roughly. |

Went out on Monday on my bike and ended up going to tommy thompson park, Edwards Gardens, and Yorku's Glendon campus. 48KM later, I saw some beautiful stuff, and a lot of the city.
Thanks for the suggestions. Hopefully more bike riding and parks next week. Hoping I can make it all the way out to Rouge Valley park, and back! |
