Review: Groove Cruise

Well, finally got to make it to a boat cruise, now that im on vacation, and this one was quite bonkers. not to take anything away from RTB but you can see any of the RTB djs every week (well except maybe jon jon). but anyways, got to the boat in a great mood, the sun was shining, people were grooving with everyone, Sobe was handing out free energy drinks, picked up a few of those. finally boat started loading up and did a quick tour around the boat and then heading up top and grabbed a drink. boat left dock around 1 and we made it out to open water (watching the RTB boat still @ dock. docked due to some unfortunate circumstances).
tunes were great. jason opened up with some chillin and groovy tunes. then andy took over with his signature funkier house. downtstairs anthony was dropping some harder beats although at first not too many people were down there cuz it was still sunny out. franco fabi was quite good. never heard him before and I def had some great times up top. but the rain started to spit and people went to hide lower deck but i trooped it out and stayed up top with a decent number of troopers. we didnt have a tarp for the entire top, just for the dj booth which was more or less not working lol. so moved the party downstairs where it was packed, wet, bumpin. Simon took over the decks and dropped one of the best sets ive heard from him in a while.
all in all, a great boat cruise, wish it could have lasted another hr or 2. but the afterparty @ the Docks was bomb diggity. Addy murdered it. i was completely sober too, my last drink was @ 6 cuz i ran out of money lol. my body is absolutely hurting right now. my left hamstring is shot. oh well, well worth it

Great review! Seems like this one was fun, too. Now, I am upset that I didn't go to Docks seems like it was a killer party. Oh well, I hope Creamer will deliver!
Good to know that despite the rain, the cruise went good :P:cool: |

| This is why I dont complain about the four and a half hour drive to toronto four or five times a year. This was once again a great time. Music was sick. And the people were friendly and having a great time. The Docks seemed to start off a bit slow once Addy took over he destroyed the place. |

lol yes i do. just the way i write these things because my thought process is in bits and pieces. I guess I use a comma to continue. Would you like me to edit my review and do it properly? |

I am pretty sure you can see all the groove cruise djs, with the exception of franko fabi, weekly in Toronto also.... It sucked that they were on the same day. I would have liked to have caught Simon and Jason, despite them having regular weekly time slots at local clubs. |
