Review: Sunset Sessions August 12

since no review was made and people are talking about it but in other threads, here it is.
So got off the boat and headed straight over to the docks. My attempt in getting in without going through id/search failed. I went around the back to the patio thingy and tried to mooch my way upstairs through there but got sent around to the front. lol oh well. there wasnt much of a line anyways. got inside where it was probably 30% full. did a quick walk around, went to the patio to meet up with people and finally headed in for some jeff button action. Its been a while since i last heard him and def didnt disappoint. track selection was great for those who needed to warm up and for those who were already.
mr. jonny white came on. i dont think ive heard him before but def was some harder tunes. by now people were filling the dancefloor and the party was bumping.
then Addy took over. last time i heard him was when he opened for chus and ceballos and this set yesterday was absolutely retarded. like... tune after tune after tune of pure bass bliss. addy destroyed it and im sure many of you will agree as well. great to have him back.
to do the docks completely sober (last drink was really early in the night around 6ish due to running out of cash) was also impressive. i think i had more fun that way and appreciated every moment of addy's set. my left hamstring is still shot and im walking around my house like a gimp. quite the battlescar

Yeah, I can easily say that was the best set I've ever heard from him.
How mental did people go when he dropped 'Rendez-Vu'- by Basement Jaxx!? |

| wow! i'm sorry i missed that. When Addy brings his A game, its an amazing time!!! My favourite set i've heard from him was his open for david guetta at lot 332 like 2 years ago. I remember he dropped bob sinclar - feel for you (original mix) ...everyone went balistic. |

I actually remember this set too. Definitely one of the top 3 sets I've ever heard him play. |

you got that right! i remember the way addy was playing, i was hoping david woulda missed his flight lol. Its funny when the opener is so damn good you don't even want the headliner to come on. |
