and friday is almost sold out
i dont think thats it
who knows iam still gonna go
i was plan on gettin the cd anyway so why not get it signed as well

If the guy can sit there and sign for two hours then why not? who said he had to spin at all? And since when did any damn dj that tours the world not care about making money, the sooner fans realize this is a business the better imo

It's not that big of a deal. See him this weekend at CP and stop complaining. It's so funny how pissed you guys get at the dumbest things.

You might think its dumb but other people don't...I guess you enjoy giving your money to people who could give 2 s about you...PvD forgets that he wouldn't have the chance to spin at all if his fans along the way hadn't supported him show some love to us....and also EVERY OTHER DJ spins so what makes him so special???
watson27
Everyone you give your money to doesnt care about you. It's hard to cater to each individual fan when you have millions of them. At least he has made CP a yearly visit. Not to mention he does 2 shows. Plus he will be back here in October. He gives the NY fans a lot. So to sit down at a record store and sign autographs and maybe spin for an hour is not that big of a deal.

Paul is one of the most humble DJs out there and he is great ambassador of trance not to mention all he has done for charitable causes.

Its a shame to me cause I am slowly becoming less and less of a PvD fan....he should be doing something for the fans. I realize that this weekend is an all ages event but for the most part its times like this that people under 18 can hear him spin as well as expose different people to his talent. IMO when an artist is more into the money and fame then the music itself then I just can't be a fan.....sorry PvD but I will have to bow out of your corner and find someone else to support that isn't after my dollar but after making my night with the music he/she spins.

Hmm and where exactly is this place?
lolz just wondering :P

not really...he doesn't even want to be considered a "trance DJ" from what I have read in some articles.

Amen.

PvD is still going strong and still doing a bangin' job on his normal club nights.

He is a HUGE reason why I fly back home and visit my family and friends *shhh, just don't tell them that* ;)

Has anyone considered it might be his agencys call and not his, if you have ever met him you would know this. Everytime he plays his agency is there with him notifying him of what time it is and to make sure he doesnt play over what was paid for. He usually ignores them for 30 mins or so, so long as there is not a law in the city making the clubs shut down at a certain time. I know you dont run into this in NY much because made usually gets 6+ hour sets out of him and I dont even know if there is a set club closing time law there.
