Call me old fashioned, I don't really like boats like that. All sleak, all clean, futuristic, luxurious, no soul at all... What's the point of going at sea if you're gonna stay boxed in your own mobile little five star hotel? I want cracky wood, rusted chains and cramped cabins where you can feel every little movement of the waves beneath you, be one with the sea, like a true captain, arr!

Eagle 40' pilothouse
Anything between 30 and 50 ft is perfect for a liveaboard, but no bigger. 40' is perfect for a trawler like this. Plus you could probably get one of those for less than half a mil. |

If there is one disgustingly excessive luxury I'd absolutely love to have in my life, it's a yacht w/ full crew.
