| I can't believe what has happened this season, and yesterday is the perfect way to end this season, with 1 and 2 falling an hr apart. I have NO idea how any of the Bowl games will look now, it all depends on how the terrible BCS will rank everyone at the end of the night. I really hope this ends the BCS, but of course they will come up with some excuse on whomever they choose belongs there, blah blah blah. The only certain BCS game is West Virginia v Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl... whoopdidoo! I hope the Rose Bowl gets smart and chooses Georgia as their replacement pick for Ohio State since it seems more than likely they'll be in the NCG. Then the SEC can show their dominance and destroy USC. Let the craziness get settled a few hours from now!! |

Yeah, I think USC is legit - in fact, probably more deserving of a national championship shot than LSU. Illinois/Florida is a game I would pay to see though. Give Ron Zook a shot to say " you" to all those Gators fans.
What's lost in all of this is Georgia though - Georgia was #4 in the last BCS poll... how can it be reasonable for LSU to jump from #7 to #2 when the #4 team didn't lose? Oklahoma should have a claim too. I'm sorry, but even though LSU did not lose this weekend, they did NOT look impressive. |

therefore LSU > Georgia
honestly, if I had to choose a team to play Ohio State at gunpoint, I'd choose Virginia Tech. LSU and Oklahoma lost to an unranked team. VT didn't.
wait scratch that, I'd choose Hawaii :p |

Hawaii vs Ohio, now that would be interesting. For all of the press that doubted Hawaii I am pulling for them. They just doubled their money (annual budget of 2.2 mil) last night with their conf. win (4.2 mil). Hopefully June Jones and Colt will take that team to a BCS win (unless the bad computer system) still fails to give them a shot. |

that would be great if a non-bcs school won the bcs championship, but i don't think it will happen this year. i think a lot of the people in the media and a lot of the voters don't want to see that happen. |

i didn't really understand how they leap frogged georgia but i don't hear anyone in the media talking about it so they must be sweeping it under the rug. |

i hate both Ohio St. and LSU, but they deserve to be in teh NC game..
so whatever...
the biggest robbery of the day was screwing over UF fans by having us play Michigan instead of Illinios.. I was all set to go to the bowl game against the Zookers but now I hardly care...
the USF vs Oregon game is the woulda shoulda game...
also UK vs FSU is intriguing...
and Hawaii will get their ass handed to them against Georgia.. this will not be a boise st. do-again like last year..
i would have loved to have seen Georgia beat Ohio St. in the NC game... how demoralizing it'd be to lose to both UF and UGA in the NC game in consecutive years.. LSU will beat OSU, but b/c its in New Orleans its almost expected... so that loss wont be that big a deal.. |

Ha the one bowl I said was certain was the Orange Bowl with Virginia Tech V West Virginia and even I got that wrong haha... DOH!
Interesting bowls here and there. I think the Fiesta Bowl will be very intriguing with Oklahoma v West Virginia, if Pat White is healthy. The Orange Bowl is gonna be weird with Va.Tech v Kansas. It could easily have been Kansas in there, but ah well. I don't like the Rose Bowl taking Illinois for the traditional matchup... Illinois is gonna get blasted. And I wanted to see my Gators roll up Zook... looks like we're gonna spank LLLLLLLLLoyd Carr instead. A non-BCS game I think will be good is the Holiday Bowl with Arizona State v Texas. I hate the BCS, but DAMN do I love the Bowl Season!! Fingers crossed for the terrible Canadian channels to pick up most of them! |
