Detroit techno legend DERRICK MAY is bringing HI-TEK SOUL back to the Sullivan Room! After an incredible night in March, we're proud to welcome back "the innovator" for this very special FREE event.
Doors open at 7pm for a special screening of "High Tech Soul: The Creation of Techno Music" and a Q&A with Derrick May and director Gary Bredow!

No, I wanted to, but I didn't make it. :( This time around I am so there!!! (For anybody who hasn't at least once been to Derrick May event in their life, and is into EDM, has no right to retire) :stongue:

Hahaha well said!
Derrick is a real interesting guy. He's going to be doing a Q&A after the film screening before the party starts too - he has a lot to say about Detroit, techno, and the way dance music is consumed around the world.
Can't wait to have him back!

Is it possible to get time table what time would he spin? I want to make sure mine and my friends time schedules work out to make it. I am going to see the movie this time too. :D

That's great that you're bringing some peeps down. Derrick is definitely a pretty inspirational Dj to see live - he really has his own approach behind the decks.
