There is a good chance more than half of the sushi any of you have eaten is not "real" authentic sushi. |
I ate a seal of approval once. |

regardless of what anyone wants to call it, i'll eat anything that has rice + raw fish (and/or veggies, seaweed, sesame seeds, cream cheese, the list goes on...)
tasty treats are tasty treats. no need to get all technical about it. |

| I love sushi on sketchy sundays. The soy sauce and wasabi helps burn off that cashmere coat my tongue is wearing the next day, and gets some badly nutrients back in me. |

its just ing rice and vegetables.
when i say sushi...i mean a piece of fish ontop of rice, wrapped in seaweed. |
and imitation crab but, at nice sushi joints, real crab.
California Rolls are literally sushi. I live in Seattle, have some of the best sushi joints around, California Rolls are on the menu.
I'd stick to being the, "Connoisseur of Placing Cats on Air-Hockey Tables" and leave sushi to the grown-ups  |

The California roll is a maki-zushi (roll), a kind of sushi, usually made inside-out, containing cucumber, imitation crab stick, and avocado. Sometimes crab salad is substituted for the crab stick, and often the outer layer of rice (in an inside-out roll) is sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds or tobiko.
The California roll has been influential in sushi's global popularity and in inspiring sushi chefs around the world in creating their non-traditional fusion cuisine.
