[Wednesday August 15, 2007 – Toronto] LIV Lifestyle Marketing, bringthebeats, Energie Entertainment and NocturnalMagazine.net & Till The AM have joined forces to put together a weekly event that’s not just about booking the big names… over and over and over again. EXPOSED at The Mod Club Theatre (722 College Street West, Toronto) is about bringing it - the music - back to the forefront once again.

EXPOSED will host four distinct events each month. Four Fridays focused on pushing the boundaries and providing the fresh names in House music centre stage in a major market.

The cornerstone of EXPOSED, LIV Lifestyle Marketing will support the Tribal and Classic House sounds that fueled the Sonic, Boa-Redux and now Sunset Sessions faithful. Expect many appearances from within the world-renown Stereo Productions roster including RICHIE SANTANA on September 21st.

bringthebeats will provide a Funky Progressive House sound the first Friday of each month. The night will highlight talent that has supported the bringthebeats community over its five year existence including it’s first two bookings, NYC’s Alex Fish & Noah Becker (HOLOSOUND) on August 24th and Edmonton’s LUKE MORRISON on September 7th. Brad Copeland makes his long awaited return to a Toronto residency as the night’s main resident and one of the city’s newest hot commodities Jeff Button will assume the opening duties.

Energie Entertainment, known for hosting some of the most stylish events in the city, will present the legendary DJ Addy and his own hand picked resident DJ Neno. It’s very exciting to have this duo who has worked together for years form a night completely tailored to their devoted and extremely energetic fan base. Addy will kick things off at the EXPOSED Grand Opening on August 17th and will act as resident for the Stereo Productions events.

The mighty NocturnalMagazine & Till The AM will round out EXPOSED each month showcasing an array of Soulful Vocal House to Dirty Tech & Electro. Armed with residents Andy Reid and Simon Jain and with EDIT Bookings securing their guests, this crew is poised to make a major impact throughout the Toronto scene. Their first booking - the UK’s JAMES TALK on August 31st – is a perfect example of the up front talent this team will be supporting.

All of these incredible events will take place outside of the congested downtown core, in the more mature, fashionable area of College St West. The Mod Club Theatre, host to one of the city’s most successful weekly events, ‘The World Famous’ The Mod Club Saturdays, as well as a rocking live-to-air on Thursdays, is primed for a solid EDM night for its Friday entertainment. With proper VIP areas, a massive hardwood dance floor, front and centre DJ booth, spectacular visuals, big room audio, slick décor and overall sexy-and-sophisticated vibe, EXPOSED could not have found a better home.

www.EXPOSEDmusic.com will be the place for everything EXPOSED including event listings, guestlist, party pics, resident info, promotional and live set downloads and much more. The site’s blog style will keep you informed on events to come and those that have already gone off! News and features on performing artists will be available, as well as multiple ways to give feedback. EXPOSED knows the opinions from the dance floor are The Most Important.

Join us at the underground’s next great venue every Friday night and party with the city’s hottest residents and emerging international guests. EXPOSED invites you to The Mod Club Theatre and the re-evolution of House music in Toronto!

Sounds exciting. It's cool that you guys have the format of 4 different Saturdays a month. That will keep things fresh and interesting.

So that means you won't be attending and we'll be hearing all about how you're boycotting the club because they're not catering specifically to you?

I'm really looking forward to these nights. I think they have the potential to breath some fresh air into this scene and diversify it even more. I think there's still a serious void left behind after System closed it's door and I'm really optimistic that these Exposed nights will fill that void nicely in musical terms.

I concur. Nicely said.

Although I'm not interested in the Addy nights. Just had to add that in there :clown:

I never said that....I go to TiL once in awhile....but it definately sounds like its catering to the TiL type clientelle.....I have no issue with that....its the way the clubbing culture is going in Toronto.

Killer. MOD Club pwns. Love that this is Fridays, not Saturdays. Tres pumped.

quite interested.
been to the mod club only once, but was loving the sound, dance floor and over all crowd.
i dont know how much of the crowd will overlap, but the sound, prospect of new names, and great sound are appealing.
everything is worth a try once.
