i have 2 places i go to (both are owned by the same company and they're Aveda salons) - one of them is a girl i've been seeing for about 3 years now, but she's a higher level stylist so it's $30 for wash/cut/style including tip. the other place i can usually snag an appointment with a graduate (less experience) who's just as good and pay only $17.
i usually see my regular girl when i can afford it, just because she's a sweetheart and i like talking to her. |

I get mine done for free.
My mate's girlfriend is a stylist so she normally comes around to our flat once in a while and cuts it, he gives her the tip later ;) |

I wish! Now it's down to $100 but she's good although she scares and reprimands me on occasion. That woman makes me :nervous: |

| The last time I cut my hair was in May and for wash/cut/style was I believe something like $45 which isn't too bad when you think about it. But yes, good salons can also mess up your hair. You just have to find a good stylist. |
