Prog Basslines

I could use some help with the notation of Prog Basslines. Just some basic examples. I know how to sidechain but I'm confused on the typical notation. I just need some examples other than the 1/4 note bass side chained, which is a basic yet nice sounding one. I can't seem to get it right.
Thanks |

Why do you want to imitate a side-chained prog bassline?
Go crazy man, you create it, let "them" label it :) |

What is a "typical notation" on a bassline anyway? |

good point, basslines that are quantized perfectly always sound dull, it's the part where you take the grid off and give it that human quality where it gets its rhythm |

I just meant some examples of a prog type bass line. |

K = Kick
B = Bass
K - - - K - - - K - - - K - - -
- - B - - - B - - - B - - - B -
