The resurgence of the Hammond B3 Organ in new House and Techno.

I don't know if it's just me noticing it now more often than before, or if there are genuinely more tracks being produced with Hammond B3 Organ VST's or what - but it just seems like there are an insane amount of stuff out there using this sound right now.

I love it, definitely lends a really jazzy vibe to EDM, and I guess I figured it had been used in Deep House forever - but now I'm starting to hear it in a lot of tech/house tunes (i.e. DJ T - Jam Pot (Original Mix) [Get Physical]), and I'm wondering if any of you have noticed an increase in the sound either?

I'll try to come up with more examples later on - but in any event, I'm stoked it's back.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I really didn't think it was anything new (particularly with house), but it does seem to be rather "en vogue" at the moment in the techno/tech-house realm.

i've also noticed this trend. there's certainly a return of some sounds including acid and some deeper sounds.
