When I first heard 'Trazitos De Navidad' I thought 'wow, these tunes are gonna be huge!' To keep it simple I love this track. The original evokes a melancholic feeling to it almost journey-like. The Primavera Remix is more of a rework of the original with a little melody added in. They sound like tech-house music but I could be wrong. Regardless they're both great. Finally, the third track from his EP called 'Music Save Me' doesn't measure up or even come close to the quality of the first tracks, but I'll leave that for you to decide.

Yes, quality track. Too bad it will be whored to death now that Tiesto included the Primavera Remix on ISOS6. :nervous:

He has been playing both original & primavera remix in livesets for months. I don't see any whores on this one yet... ;)

I found it haphazrardly while browsing through beatport and you're right about the months part, it was released in '06. It's also on Mr. Sam's 'Opus' mix compilation.

It's being marketed as a trance tune even though it sounds more techno and house-like.

Yeah, it's quite old. I heard it quite a few months ago, the producer posts at a dance music forum from Spain where I'm a member and he posted the track before it got signed. Funny that everyone in the forum labeled it as "minimal" :stongue:
