hey, I just came across this thing and it looks pretty sweet :)
I can't find anything on the US Pioneer site, so the link is to the german site: http://www.pioneer.de/default_mfs.asp?PRBE=J&COID=15
check it out:
the new thing: it plays SD Cards as well as CDs/CDRs/CDRWs! As I see it, there will be pretty cheap cards in a year or so whith a lot of memory...sounds interesting. You can play them just as the CD with pitch, cue-points, seamless loops, simulated TT stop and so on.
You can make a loop from the card, and the Player will sync the BPM with the CD and lets you put it on top of the CD output:eyes: gives some new options....lots of other functions, of course. Dunno a price yet.
what do you think? |

Hehe, old news :D
Anyway, I just dropped by to say Pioneer has a dedicated site for pro gear at http://www.pioneerprodj.com/
There's a pretty detailed info about this deck there, and I believe they will add the manual soon (manuals of all the pio gear can be found there). |

| But this thing is just too messy and uneeded. |

| I posted about this the other day, along with info on a new Pioneer mixer. This new CD player has potential but I think it needs some substantial changes before it will become as prolific as the other Pioneer CD players. |
