i got back from the game (Skipped PVD at Central Park to watch this game) and got to see beckham set up 2 nice goals. one off a free kick and another off a corner kick. too bad the rest of his team sucks.
got to see the red bulls win 5-4 on a last minute goal by Juan Pablo Angel. nice size crowd for the game (66,000+) |

the biggest crowd for a soccer/futbol game at giants stadium was when Manchester United played against Juventus in a friendly/exhibition back in 2003. Nearly 80,000 showed up for the game
now that was one fun game to watch |

vern: haha nice! it was an interesting game. the refs were calling a little bad at the beginning but by the end it wasnt so bad.
