Man what a sight :D:D
Jah
hahahahaha really! did he deck him hard!? lol!!!!! i so dont think of paul as violent
Technaut
the man has a tendancy to punch peeps if they get to close to him when mixing or piss him off!! + he is a pisshead and is known to get drunk before playing (Mayday 2001)

for the record, when PVD actually started his set at 12:05 (cos of the wanker) he played one tune - this could have been his remix of Robbie Williams 'Millenium' but not sure....... then he dropped......

For An Angel and the hole ing tent went KRAZY !!

man what a memorie!!

No No No......paul never punched him, he tried to punch the guy but missed. Why was this, paul had prepared a special tune (that he made for GC2000) to play at midnight. Guy climbed the pole of the tent and paul got mad and ran off after the guy while jules was trying to restrain him. So pvd threw a punch and missed, security caught the guy and threw him out and pvd returned to wrecking the dancefloor. I was never there but i read about this in MIXMAG!.
Technaut
your correct man, I never seen no punch and I was pretty close to Paul van Dyk. directly below to be precise.

The guy was a damn good climber!! the DJ booth(I say booth but it was really a huge stage) was really high - I'd say about 15 feet off the dancefloor

The dude who climbed the pole must have been kicking him self for donig that and geting flung out. missing the best party ever

Historic is tiesto @ Koolhaus oct 6th/2001........he played 4 hrs and went old then new, old then new.......basically tore the roof down.
Sander Kleinenberg's Set at the koolhaus march 15/2002 was historic..first time....he came here and basically ripped the place apart. THen finally Sasha and Digweed's Delta Heavy Tour on april 5th/02........they played 4 hrs and basically ripped the place apart and it showed why they are ranked near the top of the deejays in the entire world plus they had not played toronto in 3 years. Extra bonus, i don't seem to go clubbing that often but when i do, i sure do pick great events and normally have great deejays rip the place apart.

torontotrance

Paul Oakenfold essential goa mix is the most historic ever :eyes:
