$35 for 2.5hrs for PVD is a bit too much but he threw down a very solid set. the sound level was good i thought to where you can actually talk to people and good enough to dance. sound quality was okay nothing spectacular. the vibe was great. lighting at the warehouse was very poor, even habitat does it better! and no laser light? the venue is very cool (my 1st time). tickets outside were a mess they had everybody who already have will call tickets wait in a huge line. overall PVD did not disappoint. and maybe next time he can pull a 3hr set instead.

I had a blast last night. I am still drunk @ 11:03 the next morning. I showed up at 830 there was already a line. I ended up playing in the VIP room for about 2 hours and got very drunk. I thought it was a great show and the visuals were the best i have seen yet. Will have vids and pics up soon.

wow. At meridian it was $10 to get in (josh and i upgraded at the door to VIP for $5 more) and he played what..3 hours or so?

$35 is fckn ridiculous, even for a 3 hour set.

I have mixed feelings on the show. Both Josh Dupont and Paul van Dyk played great tracks and from what I could tell very solid sets. Paul was playing LIVE piano and other melodies on top of a few of the tracks..whihc I have never seen him do. Some of the transitions were out of harmony, but for the most part it was good.

My main complaints were regarding the sound. Too much subbass, very little midrange and treble. I'm not sure what was going on there...but out of 18 Paul van Dyk shows I have seen, that had to been the one with the poorest sound quality. Don't get offended...just my honest/humble opinion fom a paying costumer.

The lights were what they were...I feel there coulda been alot more of them, but since I'm pretty sentive to bright lights, I didn't really have an issue.

Overall, Brittany really enjoyed herself so that's what made the night for me. This will be the last weeknight event I will be attending for a while however. Great seeing everyone again.
