| my first love (high school sweetheart) was half filipino and half caucasian...(im a white girl). i dont see anything wrong with it at all and my parents dont care either. i usually end up dating spanish guys or italian guys though for some reason..i like dark hair and dark eyes i guess:) |

and speaking of age, so many asian girls look at least a couple of yrs younger than their actual age. either that, or you just simply cant tell how old an asian girl is. ppl sometimes think i'm 16 or something :eek: |

basically it comes from the mid 1800s US, when there was a period of extended Asian migration to the American West. the large influx of Asian men to work in farms and mines, etc. led to the desexualization(or some would argue homosexualization of the asian male). for awhile they were viewed as non sexual or threatening to other males since there were so many in one place(they often had to share accomodations b/c they were sending their earnings home). and as some Korean women were used as prostitutes by Japan back in the day, the same occurred here, since asian men were seen as threatening to white women, young girls were brough over to 'satisfy' their desires. Western brothels often had a large number of asian women- which is prolly the beginning of this whole thing.
these asian prostitutes began the whole feminine asian thing. soon all asians who emigrated were seen as overly feminine, or at least more so than caucasian women. of course, this is really simple, and im only using like .05% of my brain right now since its technically summer for me. but we stil see evidence of the stereotyped asian girl thru asian reporters who are ALWAYS women. ok my brain isnt working, ima stop. hope that makes some semblance of sense/ |

i'm italian, got all the bad parts of it like the big nose and stuff though.. got the thick italian body so thats a plus for body building.
I honestly dont notice a persons skin color when i'm tlaking to them, i have a lot of black friends, half black friends, half or other stuff, arab, romanian, whatever i just see a person in front of me.
I've never dated another race, but i'm young still.. i find a lot of other girls attractive.. this one girl is real good looking but is muslim so cant date a white guy, and well there seem to be more white girls than anyhtign else
My parents are both white, but since one of my friends is half black and his mom is white(hes pretty dark) i've learned to look for face resemblence when looking for peoples parents, not skin color because you dont know what they could be.
I know my mom wouldnt care, i asked if she would care if i was gay and dated a big black guy.. she said as long as he was good to me and made me happy she wouldnt mind, i imagen my dad might be uneasy about me being gay but he would get over it. |

I am currently dating an asian girl, i am white (caucasian.. whatever it is called)..
While i used to think that asian girls were not as pretty as white chicks (sorry guys, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, this has ZERO to do with racism!), my trip to HK has changed my attitude towards that a lot..
she is from Hong Kong and she is wikked nice and cute.. i love her :D
I am not sure what my parents think, but I think that they will support me, as they have done all my life :) |
