Hey all. I just moved here b/c of my job (Cleveland in case you wondered where "here" is) in June from Philly...big BIG change. I'm used to superclubs in NYC just a short drive or train ride away. I'm not used to boring Saturday nights with no trance in sight.
So how excited was I to find out Tiesto is coming to Cleveland on September 10th!? Excited enough to wake up three of my neighbors with my high pitch girly squeal and nonstop jumping around for a half hour.
Bottom line of me writing this thread---I need some new friends! So far the only people I've met are really weird, don't pay their own bills, and think they're living on some hot new third coast or something...lets face it, its Cleveland Ohio and its by a lake, not an ocean, so the idea that this is some kind of supercool hip new place is just disappointing, sad, and tragic. Its not LA, NY, or Miami, but its nice! I know there are nice people out there who love trance as much as I do. So where are you!? I swear if I meet one more pretentious spoiled jackass from the "white" part of town I'm gonna scream. Its 2007 people, time for diversity to kick in---even if you do live by a lake and have never left Ohio in your entire life. I need some chill people to party with!

I'm down for meeting new people since my main party friends moved to Vegas and left me...THANKS GUYS!
Unfortunately, it looks like I will be in New Orleans...but its a tentative date, so I might not be. Makes the decision to buy a ticket difficult...
Edit: Out of curiosity I checked my itinerary...looks like I'm getting in at 1157 AM, not PM like I thought it was...so it, I'll be there! |

YAY! I'm so happy people are actually responding to this. We need to band together! I'm one of the Ohio TA's now, so lets make it official and party it up!
I'm gonna have to like wave a banner or something outside to get your attention haha.
We'll figure it out! I'm just happy you guys seem so cool so far! Bring friends! Grab homeless people! Bring the cat! Lets party!

Aww maaaan. I wish u were in chicago. I just re located up here also. It sucks I don't know anyone !!! But ill b @ tiesto on sept 8th here. Its gonna b awesome !!! I used 2 live in houston and the scene down there is so awesome n I used to open for a lot of top djs but now... it feels so stilll. I'd like to think its the calm before the storm. Haha.

Hiya Ammora :) We do a weekly in a NY / Miami style club, but it's in Youngstown....which is about 1-1.5 hours from Cleveland down the turnpike. Anyhow, the club reminds me alot of "The Edge" in Ft. Lauderdale (if you ever went there). 950 Capacity, nice 2nd floor ViP area, 2 rooms, etc. I know what you're talking about I moved here after living in Ft. Laud for 12 years....it was a bit of a culture shock at first....anyhow hit me up on myspace or lolli or somethin, I've networked with quite a few people out of Pittsburgh and Akron to do some events so you'll at least see what's goin on elsewhere if nothings goin on in Cleveland.
