i remember our science teacher in year 8 throwing a tennis ball sized lump of potassium into the ocean. our school was right on the beach. it made a nice little explosion.
we only ever got to play with little bits tho.
uni chem was a bit more fun, everyone thought i was a mass druggie due to the purity of my precipitates :) |
