Church signs... only in the US

I've always wondered about those hilarious signs/billboards next to every church.
Something unique to the American culure, I guess.
A British couple traveling through the US were so shocked by these signs that they took pictures of some of the most hilarious ones.

Most look photoshopped for some reason. I lolled when I saw this...

The church near my apt has the same sign. what the is this e ? :stongue:
There are about 3-4 churches on a 1 mile stretch from my apt to the school. South Carolina ftw ! |

Did anyone else notice that the signs come from all areas of the US... how long was their trip... and when did it become possible to drive to honolulu? |

Not really unique to the US but no Catholic and few Anglican/Presbyterian churchs have sings (and the ones that do normally just post mass times), therefore, such a thing would be an extreme rareity in the UK. |

| Yep, there are billions of church signs it seems. I usually chuckle when I read some of them |

I've seen them in Canada and a few other places. Most of the signs you see such as those pictured earlier are in front of the more evangelical churchs (baptist, evangelical luthern, pentecostal, reformed, etc). |

WOW, really? Hmmmmmm ... we have like at least 6 Churches on here in Hamilton Mountain alone, LOL ... on the two main roads to my work / school. Maybe seven. Maybe Canadians are more religious than you guys are? :conf: :nervous: |
