Just incase anyone has wondered why its so difficult to time the breakdown of 'Accelerator,' its actually due to the fact one of the phrases has an extra bar and offsets the second half of the track by a bar.

Been meaning to mention i really like your write ups, i generally don't read any "blogs" but yours are pretty damn good!
I think a good way of achieving what seems like bad timing is killing the first kick, like in 'Doppelwhipper' he makes it start on the snare, works good. :) |

I've read over some of my old reviews from when I first started back in February; they aren't terribly descriptive or informative, but I'm getting better...at least I think. :haha: |

i dont get why predictability is necessarily a bad thing. when it comes to melody, i find unpredictable melodies to be pretty awful. |

| He doesnt mean sound, he means changes in the actual song like a melody coming in or beat going out/in. It gets a bit boring when you're hearing a tune for the first time and you can just anticipate everything thats going to happen. |
