that thing skeeted all over the nerf football's face [lol. firefox says skeeted isn't a word]. It went at least twice as far as a nerf football & actually went straight, unlike that floppy foam bull.

Heh yup, I had the 5.25 drive on my Commodore, and the amount of programs/games we had for the thing was well into four digits.

I was raised on software piracy... I can't help who I am! :p

LOL the ONLY time we didnt pirate software was when we first got our real computer in 1993. for the first 2-3 years i didnt know much but i tinkered with it a lot. by about 97 full blown pirate. we didnt own a piece of software we had on our machine. everything was "stolen" :D

Oh man...my boyfriend and I are linked for life because of Super Soakers. We met when we were kids at a mutual friend's birthday party (in the summer time, obviously), and both of us were the only kids (the coolest kids) with super soaker water guns. We were clearly destined to be together.

woman is everything you had/did involving your now bf?! seems like youve been childhood playmates and then one day decided to play doctor and it just worked. lol

Haha, no it's actually sort of weird. My child hood best friend (lived behind me, went to a different school) ALWAYS talked about this boy named Jimmy. She was in love with him for years. I finally met him at that one birthday party. Never saw him again until high school...and yeah the rest is history. Some parts x-rated. :tongue3

yeah, but the black max went almost as far, and you could actually play games with it. I think I still have mine in the garage somewhere.

Back in the late 80s/early 90s it was just kind of an accepted thing that software was going to be shared (and cracked by several groups along the way by people wanting to leave their "marks" and intro screens/demos on them). Magazines used to post programs as bits of BASIC code that you could type in and run on the spot. I still remember having two 5.25 drives hooked up in series and running copy programs ("nibblers") and swapping floppies (double-sided!)... all before I was a teen.

Now I've purchased Commodores off eBay which I plan on turning into synths for music production. :)
