No long review just quick pics/videos with captions as I've been going through videos (not just from my trip but from Sean Tyas@1015, Ish@1015 and soon Lexxx & Skwallie@1015) and photos like crazy and still catching up. I need some rest for this weekend!

Who would of thought 10 months ago after meeting my friend at Mauro Picotto, I would be in New York City for Paul van Dyk in Central Park thanks to her!!!

New Virgin America terminal and airplane! Seriously use them, theyre in the same price range as others if not lower. Check in is fast, their in flight entertainment system (RED -- still in beta testing) is mostly free inclduing a good selection of EDM, they have better lighting, more leg space. Other airlines have had 2 years to catch up to their quality. And best of all they're based in the San Francisco bay area so support your local businesses!!!

The Chrysler building was the first landmark I saw when steping outside the subway although you can see the city skyline from JFK

Time Square!

Optimus Prime at the Toy'R'Us store! I told him he was obsolete much like any other computer thats been out for a day so he tried to shoot me :(

I think Homer is suppose to have a remote but it had a CANDY label on it instead. This was at the Virgin Megastore.

Dave is on vacation! :(

It was only sprinkling on our way back to the hotel but as soon as I heard thunder I had to go to the Friday show in Central Park! We had tickets for Saturday only so I went solo!

Anthem, For Angel LIVE!!!!!! oh ya also white lines which I dont care for but hot damn was the vocalist hot :p

Times of our Lives for sure!!! camera died pretty much but all 6 vocalist then came on stage and did an encore of it.

After PvD, I had the pleasure of walking with this cute Japanese girl to the subway. She had work the next day (kept thinking it was Saturday and was like who works on a Sunday?) and doesnt really live in the city so I couldnt drag her out to Love where Tom Colontonio & Thrillseekers were playing at. At least she got back to me through myspace haha Love is an amazing venue, 1015 regulars would love it especially those who miss the old basement although Love is a lot better! There is no sign so friends had a hard time finding it until I got there. Its actually just a door that leads downstairs to a basement!

ALso the club used to be called Fraggle Rock!

Some of the NYTAs! I actually met some at PvD earlier in the evening :)

Thomas Datt and MeLLyMeL -- when is Thomas come back to SF? Should bring him and Tom Colontonio!

Oh ya, this sign reminded me of DaveT! lol

Took a picture of Adidas Folsom ST shoes while at Love. They got destroyed while PvD so I had to run to a sports store near by our hotel and get another pair of Adidas :p

Saturday morning we walked down 5th avenue to checkout some stores (and the Thrump tower). My favorite store was F.A.O. Scwharz! I wanted the dragon so badly haha

We then went through Central Park to get to the American Museum of Natural History which we only had about an hour until it closed so it was a rushed tour.

Then made our way back through Central Park to Summer Stage where PvD was about to start but not before I got to finally try a hotdog! 1015 hotdogs are sooo much better! How can you beat a dog wrapped in bacon and grilled on onions!

Line was huge for Saturday's show, nothing like Fridays. I brought my dSLR camera but security wouldnt allow me to bring it in so I had to go back to the hotel and drop it off which made me miss the first 45 minutes of Pauls set

Thanks to Rukes for taking these 2 shots for me from stage

by the way, the disco ball is the original one from STUDIO 54!

Honestly the set was very similar to Fridays with the exception of a few different tracks and no live vocalist for White Lies but at the end there was a much larger crowd (Saturday got sold out) wanting another track! As much as PvD wanted too and the show itself could of gone twice if not 3 times as long but due to Central Park sound restrictions, the music had to stop at 10PM. The crowd was chanting nonstop so PvD sneaks up and plays his panio to the chant!

The crowd was still going so Paul comes back out and tries to talk but is overwhelmed by the crowd wanting MORE!

After PvD my friends and I headed to Rebel which happens to be a new club. Not only was it my first there, it was also most of the NYTAs first time too! Unlike Love, it had a sign and you went upstairs this time! The club has minimal lighting yet has this upscale feel to it with all the great seating, chandeliers and artwork.

Someone told me Perry was terrible last time he was in SF however for me, he was awesome! Loved his track selection and when he played Underworld Cowgirl, I ran up back to the dj booth and told him "DUDE I LOVE UNDERWORLD!" then he says "YAH ME TOO! I PLAYED THIS JUST FOR YOU" then we both laugh. Victor Dinaire was such a cool guy too! His set was a lot more trancier. Played Airwave and even Heaven Scent!

NYTAs! fun and nice group! :)

Sunday morning I was the last one to be woken up because as I've had the less sleep and was just running on pure excitment and EDM! We headed to China town to meet up with some of my friends friends but decided to change lunch locations due to some crazy Chinese women screaming out the waiting list/numbers at the original resturant. Damn she was annoying! Luckly Little Italy was close by and we got to go to Lombardi's!!!!! PIZZA TIME!

Right after lunch and stopping by a pastry shop, we had to rush to JFK as my friends coworker and friend said there was a long line at the airport checkin. My friend go to see her coworker and friend at the VA JFK terminal

When we got on the plane, it started raining again. NYC and myself were sad that we were leaving :(

I wrote too much again and its late! I'm missing a lot still but thanks to everyone who I met and made the trip that much more special! I hope I can go back sooner than later especailly after a few people told me Friday night while at PvD to come back for Halloween when PvD plays again!!!!

Here are the rest of the pictures and videos: http://www.nextlevel.ws/rizo/070816-19/

PvD banged it from start to end! I loved how teased the crowd with mindcircus and born slippy! it's always fun watching him play with all the midi instruments he has. I like his real interaction with the crowd too, none of this 5 minute jesus pose :p

Same here! How did your recording turn out? Is it getting played on Sept 7th or has it been broad casted else where already?

Also thanks to Tom Colontonio for the guest list hook up at Love! Was nice meeting Tom earlier at PvD before it started showering again (It rained again as soon as PvD got on the decks!) Bradley Rose for the guestlist at Rebel too! Although I didn't get to meet him as I don't know how he looks. Rukes for trying to get me a photo pass on Saturday so I wouldnt have to take my dSLR back to the hotel :)

I told Thrillseekers right before his set that Taj spoils us as he has been to SF 3 times in the past year and only once in the past 5 years in NY! He agreed and was really looking forward to playing at Love.

Sorry for any terrible grammar and spelling as I wrote my original post a bit after midnight :happy2:

Im suprised you didnt go to FAO Shwartz Rizo. I used to love going there when I was a kid.

Damn, now ima have to go back to NY for a while.

Born slippy is definitely coming back. Someone else is gonna have to make a decent remix of it, All the ones that have come out after the original are lacking. I only will play the original, cause its such a great tune.

I listened to mindcircus the night in a long time. thats definitely a great tune I was thinkin of dropping this weekend.

There was a video of myspace I saw of central park and think I caught you and Jes in there Rizo.. Ima have to find it and post it.
