having problems deleting my own post/threads...

| hi swamper, did the forums suddenly restricted the priviledge of deleting our own posts/threads or is there something wrong with my account. i also noticed that i can't put my birthday in my profile either. :( |

| birthday's were blocked from accounts because alot of jackass's kept changing it to the current day and registering new names just to get their names on the site page, sad, and it clogged it all up with 20 names so it got stopped. you can only edit posts after 3 hours i believe, and then its only mods who can :) |

actually i couldn't delete my own post or thread 2 minutes after let alone 3 whole hours. plus, other people can input their birthdays. i don't even have the field anymore. i used to but no longer is it there.

i've got the same thing happen to me sometimes when i want to DELETE a thread....not sure what is causing it....
so i just end up editing the thread/post....

hmmm.. that shouldnt happen..
it may seem a bit patronising, but make sure u check the box before u click delete :p if thats not the problem then im all out of ideas...
if u cant edit/delete something that u need editing/deleting, contact a mod thats online and they will be happy to oblige :) |

happened to me as well!
i can't delete my flames anymore when i'm showing good will and trying to restore the "yet-to-be-done" damage :D

yeah seriously. the box is checked and i hit delete but it just says i don't have any rights to do it. i don't delete my posts very often but when i do need to, i can't do it. :mad:

lol one year later and i still can't delete threads. has access been restricted already and no one told me? :p
