It still hasn't hit me yet...probably won't until our wedding.
Ok so we had gone out late on Saturday night and so on Sunday, Dave calls me and tells me to come over, but I'm tired and just want to relax, besides its raining and gloomy out. But he tantalizes me with promises of a wonderful dinner that he will be cooking. Even so I became a little suspicious of desperate need for me to come over, but eventually the lure of food won out.
So I get there and he guides me into the back bedroom telling me that he needs to show me something. I get in there and he has this spread of candles out all over with a bottle of champagne chilling on ice and bowls of fruit. I stupidly thought to myself, that this must be a part of his dinner plan and didn't think anything of it. But then I saw the little ring box behind one of the bowls and I started to cry. Yes ladies and gentleman I started to bawl like a baby. I honestly can't remember what he said after that. My mind was a total blur and all I could think was OH MY GOD OH MY GOD! And he gets down on one knee and proposes. Me being the ass I am I hesitate for a few long moments and finally I say YES! Then he pops open the ring box and I'm like CHA-CHING! We then proceed to dance out on the balcony drinking champangne at 4pm on a Sunday. People looking probably thought we were really weird.
So thats the story. It was really simple, but I was totally surprised. I'm surprised that he was even able to keep it secret from me.

YAY!!! Thanks Tae! I actually thought of you when I pictured my reception. Who else would get the party going? You can give my old korean relatives a run for their money. :) |

Thanks girl! We actually went to Tiffany's once a while back to look at possible contenders, just to get an idea of what style ring I liked and they sized me in the store.
