The game is set in 1988 where economic troubles cripple the Soviet Union and threaten to dissolve it. However, the title pursues a "what if" scenario where, in this case, the Soviet Union does not collapse and instead pursues a course of war to remain in power.
The gimmicks? Well:
1. DirectX10 wonders. (we all know DX10 is gay, so let's just get this outta the way)
2. Game mechanics. Rather than the conventional RTS style match, "pubs" are set up by server owners where plays can join/leave when they choose, much like FPS servers, until the goals are ultimately reached (think Unreal Tournaments Onslaught mode lightly)
3. NUKES! (this team was successful in launching two nukes at once)
I've just barely made the system requirements, so now I'm off to download the demo :), which btw, is maybe, the greatest demo ever? The consists of Single Player campaign demo, skirmish and multiplayer. get up on it.
