do i really need 4 channel mixer or 2 is fine?

if you are only using 2 cdjs then i would strongly recommend that you find a 12 channel mixer. You need it. :tongue3:
...yes...a 2 channel mixer is fine unless you think you're gonna upgrade in the future to add more units (i.e. turntables or another 2 CDJs.) |

I'm a fan of the 3-channel boxes when you are using two main mix sources, be it tables or CD decks. The third channel can be handy, such as to hook up a computer or other audio source into the mix. It gives you a path for some expansion without going all the way up to 4 channels.
The other plus is it seems most of the 3-channel boxes are in the same price class as the 2-channel boxes, while the 4-channel boxes are usually a bit more, as they often have all sorts of other jazz you dont need or want. |

Do a search and you'll find some threads about it.
I've got one and love it. It's about the best you can get for a 2 ch. mixer in terms of sound and build quality. I hear the Ranes are nice too. |
