Sadly people have a lot of fear of him, his government and henchmen..
Dictatorship is ruled by fear, control & agressive tactics. He's got all three down-packed.
Due to the fact that the people have been under these conditions so long, they dont know any better.
They have been forced to live this way for over 60 years, what do they know other than that?
The real rebels have been put down, so there's no backbone to stand up..
Let's send ANF over there and see what happens! :wtf: |

Yeah I keep telling people this in PDD about socialist/come dictatorships around the world and how the people in power are utterly vicious and downright meanest bastards you'll ever come across.
Then they heckle me with rote-learned, popularised, politically correct bull stuff they learn in college, after enough of that I get bored and essentially fed up with my intelligence being insulted.

i used to never think about it that way until relatively recently a friend told me to think about it in that way. they know something better exists but they dont know how to connect the dots. they are kept in oblivion by their leaders so that they cant fight back. its such a sad state. |

Trying to change anyone's opinion over the internet is ultimately futile I've found. People will believe a reporter in the newspaper they've never met, watch someone on TV being paid by nebulous corporations and read stuff from random sources like blogs & wikipedia believing it may as well be the word of god herself. Old forum member for 7 years who's been, seen, worked and lived in over 48 countries before I was 25-26 = zero credibility and zero value of my life experiences.
Don't pretend to know everything, but I know a fair bit.
So, I stick to what the internet is only good for, flaming and jokes along with the slightly vain hope that one day when they're off somewhere in some nasty country having their testicles stomped into a bloody pulp while being beaten with rubber hoses in the name of the *insert socialist revolution* they might think back to what I said... |
