September 2004 for me. Never gone back, never get a craving, nothing. Willpower works as long as you set your mind to it :)

my parents never a raised a quitter.....obviously some parents did raise a bunch of quitters....If you start something you should see it through to the end....thats the problem with this younger generation....never see anything through to the end. In my day we would smoke two packs of smokes before we got out of bed.

Quiet you.

Been a slightly bad boy and had just one cig everyday for last 2 weeks. When everyone around you smokes and you're stressed out and sometimes drunk, hard to resist that cig.

Saw a pack of Dunhills for sale couple of days ago and never been so tempted... (But willpower won)

Quit cold turkey just over 3 weeks and probably have saved a couple hundred bucks already.

Three ways I know to quit smoking:

1) Eat a cigarette whole. Filter and all.

2) Smoke half a pack and then chug as much milk you can. You will throw up and never be able to stand the smell of cigaratte smoke again.

3) Whenever you get a craving exhale as hard as you can. More than half of what you smoke is air.

I quit July 2005... cold turkey

Now i only smoke when i am on vacation or when i am partying. Bieng a regular smoker is terrible, such a stupid habbit.

My advice to you is not to touch even one smoke for at least 6 months to a year. After that time i believe that you will regain your self control.

Well after smoking a pack(Dunhill) every 2 days for 7 years straight.

If you quit, you've wasted $17,444 with nothing to show for it. Might as well go back to the habit.

Just dont smoke... forget about it. Dont go outside while your friends are smoking. After one night of partying and not smoking any cigarettes, you will be suprised how much better you feel the next day.

Maybe try smoking some grass if you are realy craving the feeling of smoke in your lungs.
