Well thanks for everyone's thoughts on the set- for my friend who thought it turned a bit Top 40's towards the end-I'll say the only thing I semi-regret was "Light the Skies" and "Too Late" but thank you very much for the solid review otherwise.
The afterparty was where the true underground began-from 4:30 onward Holosound and J Butts held it down in strict deep tech house territory and a big thank you to all the beautiful ladies for dancing and keeping the vibe upbeat and though I was going to say this already the $360 noise fine makes Umar a LEGEND!

Well well well,
Finally I made it to TA forum to write a review. It has been hectic for the last few days, and I am totally swamped at work.
Anyways, we came to the Mod club at around midnight. It was raining, so we had to run for like 10 minutes on college street. I even ended up meeting some of my old buddies, while jogging in my heels and a dress.
Regardless, it was a very fun night. Jeff played some awesome tracks, as always lol. I also really enjoyed Brad's set. I don't really remember much since I kept dancing and getting more drinks, but what I do remember - is that I had so much fun, so did my friends. Holosound were amazing, too. I didn't know there were two of them lol
Anyways, we stayed till the end, so it was definetely a success:P

| Cribby--great review man! The lights there ARE amazing, totally agreed; have they adjusted the sound at all to accommodate the back of the club? Lovin' this club. What's going on there this Friday?? |

Sorry I missed this.
I remember a time when I was an Umar afterparty regular but alas no more.... perhaps there will be a reunion at some point?!?!

I'm so sore. The after party was mad. The Holosound boys came by to Chez Umar and we rocked it out back to back styles until 11am... it was all about the sleazy funk. Good until the cops came and threw down a $360 excessive noise fine.
