this is why we need that 10 day buffer thing
jupiterone
And I need a video tutorial of how to win the lottery.

Thanks.

Hellow???? LOL! WTF is that?

Yeah, a buffer for starting new threads would be a good idea. Although, some of these have entertainment value, so I'd miss them in a way. Is Psy popular or something? Seems that's what every fly by night greenhorn wants to learn to produce.

well, even for a newbie that kind of a stupid request. Try this and post something in like a month, then we'll take you serious.

I'm a newbie myself and i learned a lot from there, and still have a lot to learn.....

This isn't a stupid request at all actually.

J00F did a video of him and his engineer making a track in their studio, never got to see it myself but apparently it was about a hour long or something. Came with future music or computer music and was supposed to be really good.

Computer music did a hard house one recently with someone like BK talking about post production fx tips and also a chris lake house one.

although they are very good and fun to watch I really doubt that a newbie will have a chance to understand jack from thoose videos. They mainly go over pretty advanced topics like the mixing and advanced composition etc.

I suggest doing like everyone else, ditch the hope you have about someone serving all production knowledge to you on a silver plate and just dive into producing for real with your head first.

then in about 3-4 years of constant production you can make your own movies instead ;)

This was a pretty good tutorial i saw. It pretty much covers all the basics of psy and helped me ALOT. Don't mind the beginning, it's a bit silly at first.

I think the best way to learn how to make trance, or any other type of music for that matter is to read a lot about the technical stuff, listen to a lot of the music you want to make, and then try and recreate them on your own, that way you make mistakes and learn from them. I took computer science for about 2 years and one of the main things that we were constantly told, you learn from your mistakes. IMO thats the best way to learn. :toothless
