...or whomever is actually responsible for it

It's been going on for a while, but any recent news on when this is getting released, if ever?

there are a few different ones, but here's a rip of one:

Project-K
Not too fond of it. Original was not bad though.

Was the original ever even released?

:conf:

Remix sounds really nice, but I've forgotten what the original even sounded like...

Remix done by Tak su. Rhadoo from Romania has done an edit, and Luciano has done an edit of the Rhadoo edit. I think these two will be seeing release on white. Nothing special. Im sure the hype about this has already begun.

Rhadoo just added a few drum elements.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot.

it's been going on since Ricardo started playing it in March. I like it, especially as a tool, but yes, the buzz around it is disproportionately big. It's the whole 'forbidden fruit' deal.

I'll agree with that, but I'll add that with tunes like this (and whatever the other damn Luciano track that was posted here a while ago was), it's an all or nothing affair with me - I've either got to have them, or I just don't understand what the appeal is.

Sometimes (usually) it's a bit of both.

there are always a few of these each year. it happens whenever a big name dj starts playing a well done but unknown remix of a track that people had forgotten about, but know (bonus points for completely different genre or memorable vocals for the original). The longer it takes for someone to ID, the more hype (think hot chip's 'in the morning' or r3volve's 'hide & seek'). It usually ends with a muffled cheer, when the 200 people who still want to play it get their hands on it, the 10,000 DJs with 'promos' file them away, & everyone else moves on to another hunt.

...I still want to know when this is all happening, though. :p
