except it totally ruins the whole experience of calvin and hobbes.
making an obvious joke about medicating calvin, no matter how well executed, still leaves a black pit in my stomach after growing up with the comic. what you think is funny, is what the whole strip tried to tell you to avoid. losing the childlike innocence, without the search for intelligence meant you lost it - which is exactly what that pic was about. it was clever, but never intelligent| |

| It is amazing how the tiger suddenly turned into a teddy at the end, special effects these days are mind blowing. i rate it up there with transformers, voltron and kids that become sad when they realise santa doesn't exist but then get a boner when they realise that females have vaginas. |

| I didnt get it but then I've never read that comic strip, have no idea who the characters are and have no idea what social problems are going on in america to trigger that sketch. I dont consider myself thick as for not getting it... |
