Yeah, titanium SOUNDS kinda cool, but ask jewelers about it, and they will tell you straight: Titanium is light, but SCRATCHES SOOOOOOO EASILY, AND WILL END UP LOOKING LIKE .
My fiance and I have been looking at wedding rings, and some of the cool ones we liked were titanium (or titanium/gold). They look really cool, but after some honest advise, we found that....

But yeah :p Get what you like the look of :) They're all gonna tell the time lol.
Chances are, you'll find something you like a bunch more in a couple of years anyway.
Whatever you do, don't become interested in watches though. I have made this mistake. Watches rock. I almost bought a Tag Heuer AquaRacer last week. I don't need one, but I really like it. Really like it. Bordering on obsessed.
That watch understands me, I know it does.

^^^ that one is pretty slick...but I cant justify a watch anymore. My phone has the time and that works for me. I know most wear them for status but ist just not worth my time..Ohhhhhh see what I did there?  |

I went for this one in the end. looks nicer in real life because the three smaller dials arent black, and all blend into the blue background, which is far darker than on these pics too. List price was 200 but i got it down to 165. |
